We ended our trip with dinner at the Cheers Bar/Restaurant. I remember my parents watching this show all of the time when I was a little girl. My dad especially loved it, and would've thought this was so cool! The restaurant was set up like a production set, with lighting and cameras all around. No filming was actually done there, but it was a replica of the real show set. This was a fun way to end our day together in Boston...after all...
"Making your way in the world today
Takes everything you got,
Taking a break from all your worries,
Sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?
...
Sometimes you want to go,
Where everybody knows your name
And they're always glad you came
You want to be where you can see
Our troubles are all the same
You want to be where everybody knows your name!"
After dinner, we walked back to the parking garage where our car was parked and drove to the airport to return the car. From there we took the shuttle back to the hotel & then took the shuttle back to the airport the next morning to fly home. (We did this to save $ on another days rental on the car.) We were missing our babies badly & were very ready to be home, where for sure everybody knows our name!
And, since this is my very last trip post, here is the entire trip Quik video!
The menu was so fun!
Brian got Carla's meatballs & linguini and I got some kind of trio appetizer plate. All very good!
