Happy Easter

Easter came early this year, on March 31st. This was our first Easter service at ECC and it was great! Of course I loved the photo op that they had set up. Since we did Easter at the lake last weekend, and we had GMa's egg hunt on Saturday, we got to just spend a relaxing afternoon at home after church.
Thank you Jesus, for paying the price we could never pay on our own!
Just had to insert a few Easter pics from my childhood here! Can't get over how much my brother looks like my Dad! And I really can't get over my hairdo---not sure what GMa was thinking! =0) My dress is really awesome too!
Little Candace =0)
This may be my favorite holiday tray yet! Soooo cute!
Oh, how I love them!
I mean, I am impressed with Jonah's determination with that purple marker!
This sweet lady at church just loves Jack!

Easter Baskets

I was so busy with Easter cookies that I dropped the ball completely on the kids' easter baskets this year. I had ordered a few things on Amazon, but not much. I try to keep it simple and not go overboard like I do with stockings at Christmas, but I still want it to be meaningful and fun for the kids. We stopped at Wal-Mart on our way home from GMa's Easter picnic, and I managed to pull these together real quick. I think everyone loved the things in their baskets!
Harry Potter socks, Root Beer, Pringles, Zebra Cake and sunglasses for Jonah! Oh, and a Sonic Nerf gun like Jack's, so they can play together!
Lookin' good, Jonah!
Hair ribbons, a notebook, Celcius drink, Lays potato chips and sour gummy worms for Madi!
A Sonic Nerf gun, turkey sticks, a Sonic drink, and PJ Masks characters in his easter eggs.
He was excited about his PJ Masks!
A butterfly charm for her car, her favorite Gatorade, body spray, Cheez-its, a book & Reeses eggs. Mackenzie mentioned wanting a butterfly for her car, like I have had in my car for probably 13+ years. I thought that was sweet, so I found her this cute red one to match her car.

GMa's Easter Picnic

We had beautiful weather for GMa's Easter egg hunt picnic! This is always such a fun time with family and friends! Jack was so excited about hunting eggs this year. Of course we went home with way too much candy & quite a bit of $$ too!
Filling eggs the night before!
Helping GMa say the prayer before we ate.
Jameson and Jack had fun swinging. Brian and I worked hard to get this swing stabilized in the ground.
Cuties!
His outfit was just probably the cutest thing I've ever seen!
We ended the day with a little nap on the hammock!
