Book Club

Madi and Jonah have "Book Club" pretty much every single day. This is seriously one of their favorite things to do these days. Sometimes Madi has to convince Jonah to do it, but most of the time he's a willing subject. =0) Pony and Lucky usually participate in Book Club too. They read their books, draw and color pictures, and sometimes even make "YouTube videos." I LOVE listening to them play together! And no joke, it has really helped Jonah with his reading ability! It's a WIN all around!
These pictures are proof that they don't just sit and watch tv and play xbox all of the time!
My heart!
Here are some things they have made in book club! I love their "Elmer's"!
Bookmarks for Momma...LOVE!!!

New Kid at the Table

There's a new kid at the kitchen table =0)
We got Jack's high chair out today & he loves sitting in it! I think he just likes being in the middle of everything going on in the kitchen. Now every seat at our kitchen table is full! Everyone fights over who gets to sit by Jack.
I seriously can't stand the cuteness!! This little blonde, bald baby has captured all of our hearts.
Jack's skin is finally looking not so yellow...yea!!

Another Baldwin in the Student Ministry

And just like that, she's in the student ministry...today was promotion Sunday and we now have two girls in Youth. I have so many mixed emotions about this, but mostly I'm just really excited for her & I'm trusting that God has great things in store as we begin this new chapter with Madi! There aren't hardly any girls her age at church...actually, she was the only girl in her class for the first several weeks, so they ended up just putting her in Mackenzie's class. I am a little sad that the girls don't really have any friends at church, but I just keep telling them to be friends with each other and not worry about it. We are really hoping and praying that they will form new friendships along the way.
Jonah is going to miss having Madi in Kids Church with him. And I'm a little bummed that she won't be able to tell me all of the funny things Jonah raises his hand to say! =0)
Brian is doing the Interim at FBBA, so Sunday mornings are a lot of work right now. We are usually a few minutes late, but I am committed to making it there!
My prayer for Madi, as she begins her time as a "youth" is that she would seek Jesus and put him first in her life.
The big kids are all such good helpers!
We always regroup and make sure we look okay in the elevator mirror on our way upstairs. =0)

I Love You

 I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be!

10 Weeks Old

Jack was especially cute and photogenic at 10 weeks old...I took a lot of pics this week! He loves his paci & it always makes me laugh when he sucks it so hard that it leaves a ring around his mouth. My caption on this picture above was "What do y'all think he's dreaming about? Looks serious..."
Jack let's us KNOW when he is unhappy! We need to work on some patience! =0) Jack is already outgrowing his 0-3 month clothes, which makes me sad. I went to the rhea lana consignment sale and bought him a bunch of cute clothes this week, because he's growing fast.
Here are some pics from the last week of August.
I do think he's charming, even when he's crying...I just wish he'd cry a little less!
Life with big sisters!
I spend a lot of time doing this these days...and I'm not sorry about it...soaking up all the baby snuggles!
I bought this one especially for G-Ma since she called Jack "peanut" when he was in my tummy!
Facetiming with friends!
Photo worth moment...because I actually made the bed and there's a cute baby laying on it!
This was one of Jonah's little sleepers that someone embroidered his name on...I'm so glad I kept at least a few of Jonah's baby clothes so that I can put Jack in them too!
Also, I've already decided that Jack is going to be a t-ball player...that is something I always wish we would have done with Jonah.
