Me : Jack, no more cookies! (After he had eaten probably 4 of these.)
Jack : Waits until I'm not looking and grabs one...takes off running...I didn't see it, so he waits for me to notice and then says "I got one!" and smiles so big, just waiting to see what I'm going to do about it.
Me : I know I should probably get onto him for directly disobeying, but look at his face...hahahaha!!!

I posted these pictures on Facebook and had several comments like "Well his shirt does say JUST DO IT!" My favorite comment was from Des though..."You did give him a Dennis the Menace haircut!" LOL.
Jack is such a big boy, I just really can't believe how fast he is changing before my eyes. It's hard to even wrap my head around the fact that he's almost 3! Jack is funnier by the day, and we are constantly laughing at him. He is a little comedian, for sure, and no doubt he loves being the center of attention at all times! He is ALL BOY and keeps us busy. He is strong-willed and is really starting to have melt down fits when he doesn't get his way.
He loves playing and hanging out with his Daddy, but as he tells me often "Mommy you're my favorite girl!" It is the sweetest thing EVER! I don't know where he came up with that, but it is my favorite thing ever when he says it! He is definitely a Momma's boy. He is my constant side-kick, and I am just so thankful God gave him to us, with an extra dose of cuteness!

Jack loves the camel that Daddy brought him from Israel. Its really just to look at, not play with though, and that's hard for a 2 year old to understand!
Jack managed to get his little motorized dinosaur car completely stuck in his hair...like a wad of hair wound up in the wheel down to his scalp! Thankfully I got it out without cutting too much hair! And this is why he can't be unsupervised for more than 60 seconds! This boy keeps me on my toes!
I heard him saying "uhhhh Mama, come up here..." and this is exactly how I found him...sitting with the dinosaur car still spinning on top of his head.
I called Brian and he distracted Jack with funny filters on FaceTime while I cut the dinosaur car out of his hair.
A little choppy, but it could have been soooo much worse!
The GoStudents Retreat was this weekend & it was exciting for Mackenzie and me to meet with our Portugal team for the first time. In the midst of this dark world we live in, to see hundreds of students and adults gather to prepare for missions, well it's pretty special! I am very excited to have the opportunity to go to Portugal this summer with Mackenzie & help coordinate this trip with Jamie. That wasn't the original plan for me, but the door opened for me to go...so I will go! This will be my first mission trip without Brian...I think ever. That's funny! To God be the glory, for what He has done & what He is going to do.
And also...Brian, I think you're pretty great! Your leadership with GoStudents and Oklahoma Baptist Youth is top notch. Even when curve balls are thrown your way, you press on toward the mission of sharing the Gospel and lead others to do the same.
So glad Fernando could be there to share with us. Excited for our trip this summer!
