Happy Halloween

Halloween fell on a Tuesday this year & that always makes things interesting on a school night. We definitely stayed up too late and had some sleepy kids the next morning. We took Madison and Jonah to EFBC's Trunk or Treat, and then I took them Trick or Treating in our neighborhood with our neighbors. Mackenzie was invited to a Halloween party at her friend Macy's house, so she wasn't with us, which made this Momma a little sad! But she had a great time, and that's part of growing up, I guess. We ended up with way, WAY too much candy! It was a very Happy Halloween & we were all exhausted by the time it was over.
YES....!
Couldn't help but wonder if this was her last year to want to dress up...I sure hope not!
Grandma Baldwin got Jonah this Transformer costume back in September when she was with the kids during our SF trip. He really hasn't ever been into Transformers, but it is a pretty cool costume and its what he wanted! Also...he was determined that his light saber should be part of his costume...it was not a battle worth fighting, so we went with it!
Prettiest Little Red I've ever seen!
Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin stopped by for a few minutes.
I at least had to take some pics before I dropped her off at the party. (See separate SnapChat post for the best ones!)
I really missed having Mack with us, but just look how much fun this is!
Macie has been such a sweet friend to Mackenzie!
Ready to Trunk or Treat!
Brian and I helped with our Connection Group trunk for a little while.
Did I mention that it was COLD?!
Macie's mom sent some pics from the party! The girls did a photo scavenger hunt around the neighborhood, ate pizza and then went trick or treating.
After Trunk or Treating, we went trick or treating in our neighborhood with Brody and Addie, and their mom Amanda, while Daddy went to pick Mackenzie up.
It was so funny to watch Jonah! This was a very exciting thing for him!
And finally...checking out their loot!
So much for healthy eating...
Remember that thing about Reeses above?! SCORE!! Except she hid hers & kept count of how many there were, so she would know if anyone took one! She's a Reeses girl, like her Momma!
