Downtown Disney

We drove the rest of the way to Anaheim on Wednesday, and got there in time to eat dinner at In-n-Out. I know some people think its overrated (Brian) but I love it and it is a must-do every time we are near one! We checked into our hotel and then set out for Downtown Disney. It was about a 15 minute walk from our hotel. We looked around for a while and got ice cream at Salt & Straw (yum!) and then we made our way back to the hotel. The first night of any kind of Disney vacation is my favorite...so much excitement about the fun that is to come! 

We stayed at one of the Disneyland Good Neighbor hotels--the cheapest option, actually--and it was perfect for us.

Tombstone

We made it to Tombstone just as the sun was about to set. I wish we would have had more a little time, but we can at least now say that we've been there! We basically had enough time to walk up and down the main street, take a few pictures, and eat dinner. Before we got there, I googled "where to eat with kids in Tombstone, AZ" and the first thing to pull up was Big Nose Kate's Saloon. Imagine my surprise when we walked in and there was a ginormous picture of a completely naked woman sprawled out on a couch hanging on the wall. The waitresses weren't dressed much better either. What even?! Needless to say, we didn't stay long!! And Google...maybe you should rethink listing this as the #1 suggestion. We ended up eating at The Longhorn restaurant and it was a much better atmosphere for our family. The sun was going down while we were waiting for our food, so Brian took the kids outside to explore Tombstone for a few minutes. Love their gun fighting videos! We were all very tired of being in the car and really ready to just be at our hotel, but this was only about 30 minutes out of the way and I'm really glad we did it. 

Not sure what is even happening here! And wondering...where is Jack?!
