FC Week 4

Summer is flying by and week 4 came and went! We spent a lot of quality family time together this week. Including going on a walk/run for 3 days...which I thought was a pretty big accomplishment! Although Mackenzie didn't love the experience...my little drama queen! It is hard to eat healthy at Falls Creek, and when its so hot and we drive around on the golf cart all the time, we aren't exactly getting a lot of exercise. So it doesn't hurt us to go for a walk in the mornings sometimes! We did lots of pin trading, went to the gift shop a few times, Daddy took Jonah swimming down the big slide, and we even got to hang out in Parker Goforth's hammocks for a while one afternoon!
Oh my sweet Mack!
Still mastering the French braid!
This is what the camp menu looks like. I have to say that the food is much improved this summer!
These are some of my favorite FC moments...during the morning tabernacle time when all of the students are in the Tab and Mec, its really quiet and peaceful around camp, and not terribly hot yet. It's a great time for some exploring!
One child is like Brian.
One child is like Candace.
I'll let you figure that out.
Madison has been begging for this super soft Falls Creek blanket...she had some of her own money to spend and I spotted her a little extra so she could get it!
Our kids have lots of summer staff friends!
Hanging out in Mission Village, learning about GoStudents!
When we get bored, we SnapChat!
Look at those lips! Haha!
Ooh-la-la!!
LOL!
Sometimes I get sleepy in the Tab too, Jonah!
This doesn't happen often anymore, so you can be sure I was enjoying it!!
We all did the Fun Run Wednesday morning!
Gotta make a blanket fort at least once during the summer!
Madison's collection of stuffed animals at Falls Creek seems to grow every week!
Each week of camp, there was a rapper that performed on Wednesday nights. Mackenzie loved it!
Out like a light!
Brian is really good about taking time out of his day to do fun things with the kids when he can.
I love the GoPro for things like this!
And...bored again!
We went on a little scavenger hunt one day to find the new "Few" pins. A little birdie told us to look up by the old prayer garden. They were still really hard to find!
If you share your testimony with the Faith Riders, they will give you a pin. We visited with this sweet lady for a long time, and then realized that she is Bob and Jeannie Spears daughter. How cool is that!
This was the speaker for week 4 and Mackenzie really wanted her picture taken with him. =0)
