Jonah's 3rd grade Zoo Field Trip was so much fun! I've never seen a boy so excited for a field trip! He had his fanny pack, his zebra cake (always a zoo picnic must), his drawing book to draw the animals, and his sunglasses...he was ready! The morning started out very rainy, and I was so afraid it was going to be cancelled. Thankfully it blew over quickly and the field trip was still on! There would have been a VERY disappointed little boy if that would've happened.
The kids had to do a photo scavenger hunt, which worked out well for us Momma's who like to take a lot of pictures! =0) One thing I will never forget about this field trip is the boys sitting on a zoo golf cart to eat their lunch...the zoo lady worker did NOT like it when she found them sitting there. She wasn't very nice to me about it, but what can you do?!
Jonah was in a group with Owen, Barrett, Isaiah and Gideon for most of the day.
Poppa and Louise stayed at the house with Jack so that I could go on this field trip. I am so very thankful for them!
