We did some pretty amazing things...Hawaii, topping the list! One of the biggest blessings of 2018 was that God led us to CHA...we love it so much! We also completed our 3rd FC summer, went on our Yellowstone Road Trip adventure & went to Disney World in September. If we had to pick a word to describe 2018, I think it would be #TRAVEL!
We spent the week between Christmas and New Years relaxing at home, watchings lots of movies & playing with our new toys! I always LOVE this week so much, because Brian is off work and the pace of life slows WAY down after Christmas is over. It's almost as if time stands still and we are in a little bubble for a few days. We even discovered DoorDash, a new app that lets you order food from nearby restaurants and have it delivered to your house. So. Awesome!
Grandma Baldwin spent the night with us on Christmas, and we went to see the new Wreck it Ralph movie at the brand new theatre by our house the next day. For New Years Eve, the kids ended up spending a few nights with G-Ma, which gave Brian and me the chance to really rest! It was an all around win!
Now, bring on 2019!
We got to the movie theatre right as the show was starting, and we had to sit in the VERY front row. Ugh!!
Looking VERY tired the day after Christmas! Brian actually woke me up and said "Hey let's go to the movie in 45 minutes." So I threw on some clothes and my new hat and off we went...
The kids slept in the living room, all cozy by the Christmas tree, a couple nights!
Daddy figured out how to make the Wii work upstairs!
Brian and I ordered The Garage through DoorDash on New Years Eve! Yum! Pretty exciting around here...
We FaceTime'd with the kids at midnight, to ring in the new year together! They had way more fun with G-Ma than they would've had at home with us, that's for sure.
Well, this Christmas was anything but normal for the Baldwin side of our family. When things kind of fell apart in the middle of December, we quickly decided to host Christmas at our house this year. We were happy to do it, we just wished it were under different circumstances.
While there was definitely a feeling of sadness in the air, we still had a sweet time together and the kids had a fun time opening presents for sure. Grandma Baldwin had to make two trips to our house the week before, to get all of the presents there! I was just glad we were able to fit them all in our living room, along with all of us! Grandma Baldwin spoils us all...she even gave each of our families are Roomba vacuum cleaner...I am SO excited!! That's a sure sign that you're old when you are jumping for joy over getting a vacuum cleaner for Christmas!
Oh, and we had so much food that I'm pretty sure it would have taken us a week to eat it all! =0) I think we were all needing comfort food at this point!

Poor Madison wasn't feeling well at all at this point in the day. She laid in my bed most of the night, but came out just to open presents. Aunt Amy got big points for finding her this squishy pig!
Grandma Baldwin made quilts for all of the boys this year...I love, LOVE Jonah's quilt!!! How sweet and special!
