All Partied Out!

All that partying wore Jonah out! At the end of his party, he went and climbed up on my bed with his blanket. He had Lightning McQueen in one hand and Miles in the other. He laid there and watched Mickey Mouse in somewhat of a daze for a few minutes before going to sleep. Opening presents, eating cake & having the attention of your entire family on you is just hard work! He may be 3 now, but he still needs his afternoon nap!
Sweet dreams, big boy!

Cake & Presents

One of my favorite parts of the birthday party was when we joined together and said a birthday prayer, asking for God's blessing and protection over Jonah for the coming year. We always do this before singing Happy Birthday and it has just become a tradition that we love. Jonah had a little trouble blowing out his candle, but with Daddy's help, he eventually got it! Poppa Jim helped him eat cake and then it was time to open presents. He got all kinds of fun new toys...
Love this smile, while everyone sang Happy Birthday to him!
He didn't want to get too close to that candle!
PRESENTS!!!
Jonah loves this bank that Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin got him from Disney World!
A boy can never have too many cars, right?! G-Ma got Jonah these and a big Hot Wheels track set. We will have lots of fun with that!
Rex got Jonah this Miles from Tomorrowland spaceship.
And, last but not least, we got Jonah a new Thomas the Train tricycle!
I think it's safe to say that he loves it!

Madison's Hair Salon

Madison is really into being a "hair saloner" these days! She decided that Jonah's birthday party was the perfect place to set up a hair/nail salon! She had a busy schedule...G-Ma, Grandma Baldwin, Louise, Grandma Shaw, and Aunt Barbara all had "appointments"! What I didn't realize until a few people already had their appointments was that she was charging $1 and telling them, "I don't take fake money!" Bahaha! Smart girl! =0)))
Who knows, maybe she really will be a "hair saloner" some day! She asked me a few days ago if I would make cookies for her customers! I told her, "of course!"
