Happy 1/2 Birthday, sweet little man!! It is so hard to believe that we have had this little guy for a whole half a year now. It has gone by so fast, and yet it is hard to remember life without him! 6 months is such a fun age. Jonah is very content most of the time. However, he can throw fits like none other. Many times when he wakes up from a nap, if no one is holding him, he lets out the most awful cry you've ever heard. It's like, "How DARE you put me down?!" I know...I've created that monster by holding him so much...and I wouldn't have it any other way. He finally figured out how to roll over, but really doesn't have much interest in doing it. It's much easier to just lay on your back and play! I figure one of these days he'll roll over and start crawling. Jonah is eating baby food, but still not on a real regular schedule. I know I need to work on that soon! He is a little cuddler and loves it when I sing to him. I usually sing "Hush Little Baby" and "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, There's just something about that name..." I love singing the name of Jesus over my babies. Jonah still hasn't cut a tooth, but I know he is close because he fusses and drools a lot. He is the most ticklish little thing ever...especially under his chin and on his back. I love to hear him laugh! His little eyes just twinkle when he smiles. I'm not gloating, but he really does LOVE his Momma! There is definitely something special between a Momma and her baby boy. He sometimes sucks his thumb, especially when he wants to be comforted, and loud noises such as foil, pom-poms, trash bags, tissue paper...well, they are just terrifying! Jonah looks so much like his sisters at times, but I love it that he looks 100% like a boy.
Gotta love those thighs!
"HI!"
Just chillin'
He has also figured out how to grab his toes.
