NYC Harbor Cruise & A Sweet Ending to NYC

Brian had planned a harbor cruise for our last night in NYC, which I thought was such a sweet & romantic idea. It really was beautiful to see the city lights and the Statue of Liberty from that perspective at nighttime, but it was SO freezing cold. We just snuggled up close & enjoyed the 2 hour boat ride though! Afterwards, we got on a city bus and took it back towards our hotel...we pulled up to one of the stops and I looked out the window and saw Carlos Bakery (Cake Boss) right there on the corner. I basically pulled Brian up out of the seat and we hopped off the bus! That was one place I really wanted to go, that we hadn't been to yet, and there it was right in front of us. It was hard to choose from all of the yummy looking desserts there, but we got strawberry shortcake and a chocolate chip cookie. And Brian got coffee, of course! That was a fun, unplanned ending to our time in NYC...I think we went as hard as we possibly could & saw as much as was humanly possible, in the 3 days that we spent there.
Here is the QUIK Video for our entire time in NYC! What amazing memories!
Love this QuickLapse Brian did...so cool!
The only thing that would've been better is if we could have visited the original Carlos Bakery in New Jersey. We weren't far from it at all, but we just didn't have time. How fun would it have been to see Buddy or one of his sisters working behind the counter?!
