Halloween fell on Saturday this year. We started the day early, driving to Chickasha for Madison's cheer competition. Then we came back home to get ready for Trunk or Treat at church. It was a covid-style drive-thru this year, which wasn't nearly as much fun, but at least it was something. The girls helped pass out candy with their connection group, so Brian and I just drove through with the boys. =0) Mackenzie dressed up in G-Ma's blow up giraffe costume, which EVERYONE loved! Madison dressed up as Piglet, to go with Emma's Eeyore costume, and it was super cute. Jonah saw this ninja costume & his mind was made up! And Jack just had to be Jack-Jack from the Incredibles! I was amazed at how he actually kept the mask on his face without messing with it, for the most part. After Trunk or Treat, we came home and had pizza with G-Ma, Poppa & Louise, and Nikki & Emma, and then we went trick or treating in our neighborhood. It was a fun day from start to finish! The way things have been with Covid, I was just glad that we found a way to make Halloween sort of normal.
Just had to throw this in there because it's too funny! And SO TRUE! Hahaha! Last year, I found out I was pregnant a few days before Halloween. I'll never forget being at the trunk or treat at church and feeling terribly sick already, and trying to hide it because no one knew yet.
