Momma's Boys

I've said it before and I'll say it again...the saying that there's something special between a Momma and her little boy(s) is TRUE! It's not a greater love than what you have with girls, but there is something different about it, just as there is something extra special between a Daddy and his daughter(s). When I first found out I was pregnant, I was a little sad for Jonah, that he wouldn't be the "baby" anymore; and also that he might not be the only boy anymore. But I was also really, really excited about the thought of him being a big brother, and having a baby brother!
Another saying that I love is that "A mother's love doesn't divide when a baby is born, it multiplies!" That is so very true...from the very moment I laid eyes on each of my babies, well actually from the moment I found out I was pregnant with them, I had an instant deep love for each of them.
Now I get to tell Jonah that he is my favorite "big boy" and Jack is my favorite "little boy." They both have my heart forever & I'm so thankful that I get to be their Momma.
** Oh, and we are just going to ignore the saying about how a daughter is a daughter for life, but a son is a son until he takes a wife...nope...my boys are going to be mine forever! =0)

How special that this has happened twice for me now...
Grandma Baldwin took the girls shopping, so the boys and I cuddled up on the couch and watched a movie together. It was a sweet moment in time!
Jack was one week old here...Jonah absolutely loves his baby brother! =0)
Jonah is really going to be happy when Jack is big enough to play with him!!
Now Jonah has a movie watching buddy!
Jonah is so sweet with Jack. He helps wipe his face when he spits up & puts his Paci in and talks to him when he cries. Precious!

Jack's 2nd Week Of Life

Here are some pics from Jack's 2nd week of life..I am thinking, thanks to the iPhone camera, that this baby may end up with more pictures than any of the others, even though he's the 4th and last one. =0)
After Jonah, we thought we were done having babies, so we pretty much got rid of all things baby. But, I do have a tub of "keepsake" things for each of the kids. I am so thankful for those special little things of Jonah's that I can now use for Jack! This Winnie the Pooh towel is one of them...so cute!
Grandma Baldwin came and spent two or three nights with us. It was so helpful having her there, especially on the days that Brian was gone for FC Roadshows. She also took the girls shopping some and got them out of the house, which was much needed for everyone.
Our second week was spent dressing Jack in cute baby clothes, holding him pretty much all of the time when he wasn't in the bilibed, waking up every 2 1/2 hours during the night, taking naps when we could, and changing a LOT of diapers, as you can see in the picture below. =0)
Here is Jonah in this same towel....so so sweet
10 Days Old: Hey Mickey!
Dreamin' of Disney World...
I can't wait to take him there!
We didn't waste any time introducing Jack to the world of Disney!
Brian slept on the couch, so this is how Jack and I slept the first 3 weeks, until I started putting him in his Dock-a-Tot in the crib in our room.
Jack's 1st SnapChat...

I love the way he fits and feels in my lap!
6:15 AM...we are pretty much up at all hours of the night...
Trying to get some sunlight to help with the jaundice...its just hard to do that when its so HOT outside.
Sweet summer days...
I found this online and just had to have it! Right now he doesn't like it at all, but maybe he'll change his mind when he gets a little bigger?
Some serious gamers, right here!
Icouldn't believe how fast we got Jack's social security card in the mail! Our first piece of mail with his name on it.
Precious.
