On Halloween night, we ditched out on trunk or treat at our church & went to McAlister's and trick or treating in our neighborhood instead. Jack wasn't feeling great & this was just better for us. It was kind of a quiet Halloween but we loved it! Usually we feel rushed to do everything, and this was just relaxing and fun. Jack was very excited about trick or treating & it was so funny watching him waddle down the street!
We always love going to WHBC for Trunk or Treat. I'm so glad they have it on a different night than Halloween so we are able to do it. GMa and Sharon always have a fun themed trunk. Jack could have skipped the candy altogether and just stayed at the bounce house slide all night. Jonah and Poppa did the cake walk over and over, until they finally won! Everyone loved Jack's Donald Duck costume. I guess he wore himself out, because he kept just laying down on the ground. It was the funniest thing!
I think Madi wanted this "costume" just so she could have Dunkin'! =0) This was completely her idea and I think she pulled it off quite nicely! And Mackenzie's super last minute poodle skirt costume was darling! I'm just so glad they still want to dress up and don't think they are "too old!"

I am envisioning this picture in Jack's senior slideshow someday! I just couldn't help myself...when I saw him in this costume, I knew we had to have it. Cutest. Ever. Needless to say, Jack got a LOT of attention over this costume! We didn't end up going to EFBC's trunk or treat, but he got to show it off at Woodland Hills and trick or treating in our neighborhood. It's going to be hard to ever top this one!
