I have always loved Halloween! Some of my favorite pics over the years are from Halloween. This year, Mackenzie wanted to be a black cat, which really surprised me since that's what Madison was last year, but it was easy so we went with it! Madison had lots of ideas, but once she saw this puppy costume, her mind was made up! And Jonah was set on Batman! I had to make three Wal-Mart trips before I found the right size.
Halloween fell on a Monday night, and it was actually the night before we closed on our house in Edmond! We did a lot of driving on this day, because shortly after I made it home from school with the girls, we loaded up and drove back to Edmond. We saw that FBC Edmond was having a Trunk or Treat, so we decided to go there for a while. It was fun, but there were a LOT of people so we didn't stay for too long. That is a church we are definitely planning to visit once we get settled into our house. Afterwards, we thought it would be fun to drive to our new neighborhood and trick or treat a little bit. I am SO GLAD we did that! What a perfect opportunity to meet some of our neighbors! We met the family that lives behind us and they have three kids around our kids ages. We also met a very sweet couple that lives across the street from us. Standing in the yard and looking at the house that would be ours the very next day was so exciting! On our way back to Newcastle, we met Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin in the parking lot at Braums so they could see the kids' costumes. It was a very fun way to spend Halloween and we were all extremely tired by the time we made it back to G-Ma's house.
Jonah was not exactly in the best of moods at the Trunk or Treat.
Here we are in front of "OUR" house!
I was excited to see that there were lots and lots of houses ready for Trick or Treaters in our neighborhood!
One more pic on the swing in our yard...I'm glad the homeowners didn't come home while we were there! Hehe!
