FC Set Up

So after getting our summer shopping done & our library books checked out, we headed back to FC for the second week of set-up. We got our stuff situated, played a lot of UNO, rode around on the golf cart, went shopping in Ardmore for camp supplies, had our first ice cream & ICEE's of the summer, watched movies, read books, and put together a donut puzzle! The set-up weeks are always different than regular camp weeks, because there's not a lot going on for the kids and I to do, so we have to make our own fun. Brian is always really busy the entire time too, so we don't see him much. We have only spent a few days in our new "apartment," but we can already tell its going to make things so much better!
"Can we play this game ALL day long, Mommy?" #howmanygamesofUNOwillweplaythissummer? #somebodyhelpme
Look! It's a REAL Kitchen!
AND a living room!
And TWO bedrooms!!
We spent forever in Lowe's helping Daddy find things they needed for camp.
Jonah was happy about it...
The girls not so much...
It was quite chilly those first few days of camp set up...we enjoyed it, because we knew it wouldn't last long!
Look at our big-rig...I really like driving the smaller golf carts better, but we just don't fit!
Jonah's step by the ICEE stand...it's still just his size!
The first of many...
That smile!! =0)
All tucked in!
Okay so this is funny...I decided that I would be healthy & make the kids a green smoothie...I mean, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, apple juice...how bad could it be??? HA!! #atleastitried
How can something look so pretty before you hit the blend button...
...and end up looking like this?!
This was made with love, but apparently not enough love to make them drink it...they couldn't get past the color or the texture! I couldn't blame them...neither could I!
We liked our donut puzzle much better than the green smoothies!

Ready for Summer!

We always kick off our summer break with a trip to the library! We got LOTS of good books to read! We also went shopping for clothes...the kids all needed shorts and t-shirts for summer. It was an expensive day, but now they're all set! Oh yeah, and I got my hair cut! I've had it long, for as long as I can remember, but I decided to cut it shorter for summer. I love it!
So...books to read, new clothes to wear, and short hair...we're ready for you, Summer!
#chaching
We decided our fortune at Panda Express was very fitting, considering we celebrate the Good News of Jesus all summer at camp!
I LOVE this picture!
We should make this our motto for this summer...
Summery Snapchats!
Not sure I'll ever be able to fix it like Stacey does, but I'm gonna try!

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to the lake and spent the night over Memorial Day weekend. This was the first time since everything happened with Grandpa Baldwin that we had been there, and it was a little sad and different. We still had a fun time & I'm glad we went. We got out in the boat a little, but there was so much debris in the water from a recent storm, that we didn't let the kids tube. Instead, they collected worms. It was the grossest thing I've ever seen. They literally had huge coffee cans full of worms. The even worse part is that they begged to bring them home to "sell" to G-Ma, and not knowing they needed to be refrigerated (???), they died in our garage. It was the most horrendous smell EVER. Oh, the worms...we will always remember the worms! =0))
Look at that brown water...no thanks...I'll stay on the boat!
Madison's face...hahaha! I'm with you, girl! (Yet she collected most of them herself!)
