Fall ELP Pic's

Just before we left for Disney World, the girls had Fall pictures made at ELP. I just can't believe how grown up Mackenzie looks. And Madi is so sweet...Mackenzie absolutely loves her teachers & her friends at ELP! Some of Madison's friends are Lucy, Bella, Petra, and Jack.

Trick-or-Treat!

After Noah's Ark, we made a quick trip across town to Trick-or-Treat at Uncle Clint & Aunt Abigail's house. The girls were much more interested in their dog, Lewis than they were about getting more candy. Mom & Poppa followed us over there, and then drove back to Newcastle afterwards. We had a very fun, very busy Halloween! Lewis let the girls pet him this time! I think he gets a little overwhelmed by them, but he is warming up! So happy to see Uncle Clint!Ridiculous! Guess who ended up eating most of this??? That's right, me!

Noah's Ark

It is so hard to belive that this was our 5th year at Noah's Ark at STBC. I remember going the first year we were at STBC like it was just yesterday. Mackenzie had just turned 1 year old & I have sweet memories of my Dad being there. That was special. I'm so glad he was able to be a part of so many fun things...I miss him so much. Noah's Ark is such a wonderful event put on by our church. We went straight to the face painting table & then played games and got loads of candy. Poppa Jim & G-Ma drove up, just for the evening, and Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin stopped by for a few minutes too. I am so, so thankful that we live close enough for them to be able to do things like this. It was so cute...every time I started to take a picture of Mackenzie with her friends, Madison would go stand right by her and lean in for the picture too. So sweet! No way was I going to pull her out of the picture! By the time the night was over, I was EXHAUSTED...but, it was great & I'm so glad we have such a fun thing to do every Halloween.

Noah looks a little scared...maybe he's better with animals than he is with children!Mackenzie just loves Pastor Ted! Ever since they became "famous" together in a TV commercial for the church, they have been best buds! When they saw G-Ma walk in, they went running & squealing! It was very exciting. We were so happy that Poppa Jim came too. He is the best!Grandma & Grandpa got there just in time to watch the girls play a few games & to eat hot dogs with us. It was great to see them before we left on our trip. Our sweet friends, the Easterwood girls...Katelyn & Kinley! Here is the annual picture of Mackenzie, Emma & Aubrey. So fun to watch them grow up together!Mackenzie & Bella are quite the pair. This cracks me up! This is what Madison did every time I took a picture of Mack with one of her friends. So funny! The girls with Josie, a friend from church & ELP.Madison & her sweet friend, Gwen Pierce. She was such a cute little Minnie Mouse! That is what Madison was last year for Halloween.Madison got a ladybug painted on her cheek & a ladybug balloon...she loved it! Mackenzie got some pretty flowers to match her wedding dress! Now, on to the games & candy... This is always a favorite......and there she goes! Oh, and I love this because it shows off Mack's boots so well. She decided her boots would be the best thing to wear, because they were more comfortable than her "dressy" shoes, but they still sparkled like her dress. That wasn't a battle I wanted to fight, so I just went with it! I think we played every single game at least once and many of them twice. We had two buckets completely full of candy by the time the night was over.It was so fun watching Madison on the cake walk. She just followed Mackenzie & did exactly what she was supposed to do! Poppa Jim helped Madi play the Basketball game & the Golfing game. The fishing game...another favorite! What a fun night! We went straight from Noah's Ark to Uncle Clint & Aunt Abigail's house to Trick-or-Treat. By the time we got home, we were all ready for bed!

Happy Halloween!

The girls both looked so cute for Halloween this year! Well, they always do, but these costumes fit their personalities so well. Mackenzie knew the first time she laid eyes on this Cinderella wedding dress that she wanted to be a bride for Halloween. (She has been completely into wedding things, since she was in Uncle Clint & Aunt Abigail's wedding earlier this month.) And every time I asked Madison what she wanted to be, she said, a "b-buh." (that is ladybug in her language!) Before heading to the church for Noah's Ark we took some quick pic's on the porch. The second the camera was aimed at her, Mackenzie started posing. Seriously, I should try to get her into modeling for magazines or something. I think surely I could make some money! =0) The girl knows how to pose for pictures. Madison has started to really ham it up for the camera too! She has a good role model to learn from! I love my precious girls. I know there are a lot of pictures that are very similar, but I just couldn't get rid of any of them! Halloween was a lot of fun this year, but it was also kind of crazy because I was trying to get everything ready for our Disney trip, which we were leaving for just a few days after Halloween. (That is a run-on sentence, I know, but I'm too tired to figure out how to fix it!)
This picture makes me want to cry! She can't be this grown up yet... Check out those eyelashes! This was her first time to wear black mascara & she looked precious. One of these days (a long, long, long time from now) I know she will make a beautiful bride for real!
Here come the poses...
This is THE cutest ladybug I've ever seen!
