Where Is Jack's Ball?

Jack had his first soccer practice on Thursday evening. I thought we were so prepared, but when it was time to leave, we could not find his soccer ball ANYWHERE. I would like to say I handled this situation well, but I did not. I knew that he needed to have a soccer ball, and I was frazzled over not being able to find it. I quickly loaded Jack up and sped to Walmart to get another ball--we were practically running through the store. Lol! But, we made it to practice, with 3 minutes to spare, and this boy had a soccer ball! =0) Later that night, his soccer ball was found...in the upstairs bathroom in between the toilet and the shower. I mean, of course it would be there. Now we have two soccer balls, so hopefully this won't happen again!
Jack did have a blast at soccer practice! This is going to be fun! I think he might be a natural...
Can't wait for his first game!
There are a lot of little boys on his team!

March Fun in PreK

Here are some PreK pics from March, mostly from Mrs. Gentry, with captions of what they were doing!
Catching fish and learning how to take care of pets.
Jack was so excited to bring home this fish!
Jack got to bring a book to read to his friends! He took Nibbles the Book Monster. I wish I had his "reading" on video! =0)
We are working hard to strengthen our number sense. From sorting, counting, making sets, ordering, adding and subtracting.
Working on arranging our letters Aa to Zz and matching our uppercase and lowercase letters. We are also working at recognizing the letters in our names.
We explored the elementary and secondary buildings at CHA.
We had a super fun shopping activity. They got money to spend and they had to choose what to buy. We had frugal shoppers and overspenders. It was so much fun to hear their choices!
Exploring Earths properties using magnifying glasses.

Library time with Mrs. Clark
Push pin art and investigating rocks.
We played Bingo, made a number caterpillar, did a George Washington picture, and played Hidden Fish with numbers 1-20.
Reviewing letters with musical chairs & a leaping letters game.
Matching alphabet acorns.
