Madi's Moves

Madi has become quite the video-editor-producer these days! This is pretty much how she spends all of her free time, and she is really very good at it. First, let me say that she does not even have TikTok, but somehow she can still find these videos to replicate. I love seeing her confidence and fun personality! We're going to have to keep her sassiness in check though! =0) She would really like to have her own YouTube channel, but....I don't think so! 
I wish I could show these to her teachers at school...they would never believe it was the same, shy girl they see in class! I can't believe how grown-up and beautiful Madi is becoming...its like overnight she went from a cute young teenager, to a beautiful young woman. 
She keeps us laughing with these videos, for sure! And no doubt about it, the girl has got moves!
Get ready...I told you there were a LOT of them! =0)

Some Time at Home

Since the girls had cheer practice, that gave us a good excuse to hang out at home for most of the week. It was soooo good to have a bit of normal for a few days! We enjoyed sleeping in our own beds, playing with toys, building Legos, going swimming at Leslie's, taking the girls back and forth to cheer practice, and even cleaning the house. I also had lunch with my friend Kari, who I haven't seen in so long, so that was a treat! It was good to be home, and we were all happy when Brian came home for the weekend.

This was at lunch with Kari, at Iguana. I don't know why I took a picture of my food, but not a picture with my friend! #fail It was a very good salad though!

What a man!! I don't think I even asked him to do this, he just did it all on his own when we were picking up the house.
We went out to Leslie's one evening to swim!
Jack loves The Little Mermaid, so Madi made this video at the pool one night. So funny! Her splash was pretty good!
She loves frogs! ICK!!
Pony is still here...I couldn't be happier about this! She doesn't go everywhere Madi goes these days, but when Madi is in her bed at home, Pony is always there!
Jonah and I build his pirate ship this week. He has a LOT of Legos and they are mostly mixed together, so this was quite a project, but we got it done! Now we just have to keep it away from Jack!

A Very Short FC Week Four

Week 4 of camp turned out to be a very short one for the kids and me. I picked Jonah up from CrossTimbers on Monday afternoon, and we spent Monday and Tuesday at camp. We went home late on Tuesday evening, because the girls had cheer practice on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. And to be honest, we were all just needing some down time at home. This was the first week of the summer that everyone was "home" and not spread out all over the place, and it was wonderful! 
We finally got to head to the baseball field altogether, to run the bases! 
LOL! They look like giants from this angle compared to Jack!

CrossTimbers

Jonah went to Crosstimbers with Northwest Baptist again this year, and he had the best time with his friend Owen! Camp was from Friday to Monday this year, so it was a little different. Brian and I went over to visit for the Sunday evening service. It. Was. Hot. I know Crosstimbers is just down the road from Falls Creek, but somehow it is hotter over there. Kelly drove down and left Madelyn at Falls Creek to hang out with Mackenzie, Madison & Jack while we went over to Crosstimbers. It was a fun evening, other than just nearly melting! Camp ended Monday afternoon, so I drove back over and picked Jonah up and brought him back to Falls Creek for week 4! 
The Crosstimbers theme verse this year is Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." I loved looking at Jonah's Bible notes he took during camp...nothing better than pouring God's word into your heart, while having a blast at camp at the same time! I think he must have gotten a little side-tracked at point though, because he threw a big "BOOMER SOONER" in the middle of his notes!
