EFBC Easter Egg Hunt

We volunteered to help with EFBC's Easter egg hunt at Mitch Park on Saturday afternoon. This was our first year, and there were SO many people. It is a good outreach event, but honestly it was a bit overwhelming and stressful because of the amount of people there. The kids had fun though! We ran into our friends, the Stover's, so it was fun to hunt eggs with friends. I helped with "hiding" the eggs, which consisted of literally tossing thousands of eggs out on an open field. There wasn't much (any) "hunting"... it was more of an all out race to grab the eggs!
We had fun with the egg hunting, but I was ready for Sunday...the REAL reason we celebrate Easter! Our resurrected Savior!

Easter at the Lake

We went to the lake to spend time with Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin the Friday before Easter. Uncle Stephen & Aunt Tamara and the kids came down on Saturday & had some very exciting news. They are going to have another baby!! We are so happy for them! The kids helped Grandma Baldwin decorate her traditional bunny cake & then they hunted eggs. As always, each of the kids had their own color of eggs to hunt. Daddy & Uncle Stephen hid Mackenzie & Madison's eggs pretty hard, but we finally found them all. It is really fun to watch Jonah and Olivia together! I'm so glad he has a cousin his age to grow up with!
Such a cute bunny!
Grandma Baldwin got each of the kids a bag of goodies!
