Swingin' Out of September

I always knew we kept that baby swing on our swingset for a reason! =0) Jack is really still too little for this swing, but I stuck a blanket in there with him and just barely pushed him...he loved it!! I love relaxing evenings at home, playing in the backyard with the kids. This was at the very end of September...it was a good month, and now we are ready for my favorite...October! 

Jack is an expressive little thing...I can't seem to delete any pictures, because I love his facial expressions in all of them!

He was a little serious at first, but then when he realized it wasn't too scary, the smiles came!

A Beautiful Saturday

We woke up this morning and had breakfast together and then decided it was a beautiful day for a bike ride to the park. Madi & Jonah loaded up their backpacks (which were in the bottom of the stroller in no time) and away we went! The kids had a pretty intense obstacle course competition at the park. It was funny to watch them! 

Feeling especially blessed on this lovely Fall day! Days like today make me feel like some sense “normal” is returning.

Wild About Mommy

My heart can hardly take it!! It's crazy to think that I was ever sad when I found out I was pregnant with this little guy...I mean, how could I ever live without him?! I'm so thankful God gives us what He knows we need, and does things according to His plans, because His ways are always best!! 

No doubt about it, this baby is a Momma's Boy already! This little outfit was one that Jonah wore as a baby & of course its one of my favorites. =0)

3 Months Old is so sweet & fun...all the smiles and sweet little noises!

Problem Solved!

The problem of where Jack will "live" once he moves out of our bedroom has been solved! =0) 

Jonah is very excited about sharing his room someday with Jack...we'll see how long that lasts once it actually happens! I'm thinking we will probably wait until Jack is around a year old before moving him into Jonah's room. It makes me nervous already, thinking about him being upstairs. I have a feeling he will be very good at convincing Jonah to get him out of his crib or figuring out how to escape on his own! These pictures make my heart so happy...I'm SO thankful that God gave Jonah a baby brother, and that Jack has such an amazing big brother!! 

"This is Jack"

Jonah found a new book series at school called "This is Jack," and he thinks it is so fun to read these books to his baby brother, since the main character is named Jack! It is the cutest thing EVER, because Jack really does lay there and "listen!" Jonah's reading has improved so much since last year...we are so proud of him! I hope Jonah and Jack grow up to be best buddies, even though there is an 8 year age difference. I think Jack will think Jonah is just the coolest brother ever!
