Well, to say that November was a roller coaster of a month for our family is an understatement. The month started out with me being very sick constantly, and being in sort of a survival mode. We had soccer, school, church, birthday parties, homework, laundry ...you know, just every day stuff. Then, halfway through the month our world was turned upside down when we found out that we lost the baby. It's amazing how things can change in an instant. God has been good to us though, and we have felt him with us every step of the way. The smiles on my kids faces brings such joy to my heart. It seems like every time I turn around, one of them is doing something cute that I NEED to take a picture of! =0) Here are some misc. pics and videos from November.
I went and had lunch at school with Madison one day. I have felt so sick that I have struggled with being there for the kids like I should. It seems like Brian is doing everything these days... =0( But then I look back and think of moments like this...I really was trying!
Jonah absolutely loves Choir and asks if he gets to go to Choir every single time we go to the church.
I've never seen such cute, tiny buns in all my life!
Somebody was needing an attitude adjustment...check out that glare he's giving me!
Taking 3 kids to the doctor to get flu shots at the same time is just a ton of fun...or not! Brian picked them up from school and I met him at Dr. Raley's office. He told them as they pulled in what was happening and when they barreled out of his car, the girls were both wailing. Not crying...WAILING. They didn't even cry when they actually got their shots, but the thought of it was just scary I guess. They all got stickers, suckers and ice cream, so everything was good after that! I got a flu shot with them too, so hopefully we all stay well this winter.
Playing Monopoly Jr. with G-Ma...this was always one of my favorites when I was a kid.
We were so glad to see our friends, the Bradfords, one Sunday when they came up from TX to visit. Madison & Isabelle are sweet friends!
Jonah has been helping Daddy in the garage some lately, and one day I found him putting air in his tire. He had the hose pulled over to the tire where it should be and everything. He's a smart boy!
I needed to get out of the house one day when the kids were out of school the week of Thanksgiving, so we picked up McAlister's and went to the church to have lunch with Daddy.
We went to Mama Sue & Poppa Don's house to visit and see Jake and Rebecca's new puppy dog, Muffins. The girls were in love! One of these days, they are going to break us on the no dogs rule...
Madison was invited to Madeline's birthday party at Purple Glaze and of course she painted a dog!
Here are some pic's of Madison at her friend Molly's birthday party at the skating rink. This was the day we found out about the baby, and I sure was glad the kids weren't sad like I was.
Madison & Claire were rockin' the photo booth!
My sweet friend Jill helped take care of the girls during dinner on Wednesday night on the day of my procedure. She had her hands full with this crew! So thankful for friends who love us and are willing to help!
The girls got some new dress up clothes from Emily.. Obviously, they love them!
G-Ma spent several days with us after we found out about the miscarriage. She is such a huge help & the kids love having her at our house. It was kind of fun, because she doesn't normally get to help with pick ups, etc. and see what a "normal" school day is like for us. Jonah really enjoyed his one on one time with her while the girls were at school!
