Welcome to St. Louis!

Other than Disney World, St. Louis is one of our favorite places to go as a family. We were so excited that this is where our Youth Choir Tour was going to be this year, because it gave us a great excuse to get away for a few days! We left on Sunday after church to spend a few days together before the teenagers arrived on Tuesday evening. We stayed downtown at the Hyatt, right across from the Arch. When we arrived Sunday evening around 7:00, we decided to go for a walk downtown and ended up taking a carriage ride around downtown St. Louis. It was a fun 15 minutes and the girls loved it! (I suppose it was worth the $40 we paid to do it!) After the carriage ride, we ate dinner at Hardees (the only fast food type thing we could find near our hotel!) and then headed back to our hotel for the evening. This was such a fun way to begin our week in St. Louis!
I took this picture right as we exited our hotel. It was fun to stay so close to it!

He's such a good Daddy! And handsome too...
LOVE this face!
I love the Arch in the background of any picture!
This is the old courthouse in St. Louis. Our "tour guide" was very friendly and one of the things she told us about was that in St. Louis, if you see a fountain you can just jump right in. There were people walking around in the fountains everywhere. Her advice provided a lot of fun for the girls over the course of our week!
 Our horse's name was Danny-Boy.
