Mackenzie loves coloring and drawing. She is quite the little artist! When we ask her about school, she always talks about Art and how much fun it is. Here are some recent pictures that she drew within the first few months of school. It is really neat to see how she perceives things when she draws.
She drew this picture of all of us during church today. I love Brian's spiky hair and green eyes, and Jonah's black hair. She has heard everyone talk about how much dark hair he has, so she pretty much got it right! I'm not sure what the deal is with my head being so BIG!
She also drew this picture of Pastor Ted. He's got some good looking hair too! I posted this picture on FB so he could see it, and he loved it.
At school, she is learning about the Eiffel Tower and this cute little poem.."Who is the popular artist today? Oscar Claude Monet, Hey, Hey!" I have made her say it over and over because it's so cute when she does it. I was blown away by how good her drawing of the Eiffel Tower was! I'm so glad she gets to do Art at school.
She drew it several times, improving each time.
I couldn't believe how well she drew this church, just by looking at this sticker. The picture above that is "water lily's" and the one to the left of that is a playground.
Mackenzie colored this picture below and said it was me...I'm lookin' good!
This is a picture she drew from the Veggie Tales movie "Princess and the Popstar."
Mackenzie is always asking how to spell words so that she can write them down.
This is just another picture that she did with stickers. She wanted me to take her picture with it and send it to G-Ma so she could see it.
Mackenzie is learning to spell very well. She loves her family! I think she loves me the most...I made the list twice! =0)
