Indianapolis Children's Museum

On Friday before the conference started, we went to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. It is the largest children's museum in the U.S. and it was so much fun! It was a little pricey to get in, and we spent $37 on lunch there, but it was well worth it. The dinosaurs peeking into the building were really cool. We spent several hours there and we were all pretty tired by the time we left.

Mackenzie looks like she's in pain...it's no wonder, Jonah weighs nearly half as much as she does!

The first thing we did was the dinosaur exhibit. The girls weren't sure about the fake thunderstorm that happened, but later Madison said that was her favorite part of the whole museum. They both loved dressing up like little dinosaurs and playing with the eggs.

Jonah's favorite part was the dinosaurs, for sure. I know Daddy is excited to have a boy to do "boy things" with when we go places like this.

Mackenzie's expressions are hilarious! She's a very serious, scary dinosaur! Madison, on the other hand, was a very sweet, nice dinosaur.

Another fun part of the museum was the Gecko exhibit.

Jonah mostly rode around in the stroller, but he did get to play in front of a mirror in one section of the museum. This is one of my favorite outfits he has right now...G-Ma got it for him at Gymboree and it says "Boys Club." This was the first time Jonah rode in the front part of the stroller where he could sit up and see everything. He loved it and kicked his legs happily!

We had so much fun!

One of the highlights of the day was eating frozen yogurt, made by a robot. They had this little machine that let you select what you wanted, and a robot got it for you. It was pretty neat and the girls loved their yummy treat!

Poor Jonah didn't get any frozen yogurt!
