Christmas time is just a happy time! And I was desperately in need of "happiness" and "normalness" after the emotional roller coaster of November. Watching Christmas shows, reading Christmas books, singing Christmas songs...I love it all! As busy as December always is, we still had many quiet nights at home...the best kind!
I got this glimpse of our living room from outside when I took the trash out one night...so cozy...made my heart happy! Made me extra thankful for our home & this life we have here!

I was busy baking cookies one day and this is what the kids were doing...reading by the fireplace! So precious! Jonah loves sitting in this brown basket. One of these days he will probably break it, but it's just so cute when he sits in it that I can't make him stop!
I got a little carried away with presents this year...shopping is therapy for me!
And as always...Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without cookies! Lots and lots of cookies!
