I had an eye doctor appointment this week so Madison & Jonah came with me. In the waiting room there were all kinds of kids books, but Jonah picks up this one...in his words, the "Jesus Book!" So precious! He opened it up and ran his little finger along like he was really reading it. It was the sweetest thing...he started listing off names (see video below). I sent that video to Kari and it made her day that he included her! Who knows, maybe he will be a preacher someday!
Madison was working on her homework while we waited. That girl can make some funny faces!
Jonah's dialogue went something like this...
"Jesus is born...in a hole...Jesus is born on a hill...no, in a hole...and, and, and, and...and he's gone...in a hole...and he can't stand up..." (and a whole lot more that I didn't really understand!) This boy is going to have to learn to communicate better if he's going to be a preacher!!
Then on the second video, he starts reading names out of the Bible...
"Look, that's Jesus...and that's you (mommy), and that's me, and that's Daddy, and that's you (mommy again), and that's Mack, and that's Ms. Kari, and that's name is "Me-Ma" (G-Ma), and Grandma Baldwin too!" I'm just glad I made the list twice!! =0)
