No doubt about it...these kids have THE best G-Ma in the whole world! They are kind of crazy about her too, if you can't tell! She spoils them rotten at Christmas...I mean, just look at these piles of presents! I've tried to talk her out of doing so much, but I think she enjoys it just as much as they do! We opened presents on Wednesday afternoon. The kids had been so patient all week long, so they were more than ready! G-Ma made each of them a new blanket this year...Mack's was Star Wars, Madison's was puppy dogs, and Jonah's was Paw Patrol. Jonah was especially excited about opening presents...he would barely get one open, see what was inside and then say, "I wanna open another one!" It's hard to believe this was our 5th Christmas without my Dad...he would love his 4 grandkids so, so much! My Mom surprised us this year and gave us a card with $1,000, which she said was my from our Dad...since he's not here to give it to us, she did it for him. What a huge blessing & such a sweet gift! I instantly burst into tears. The living room was a danger zone by the time we ripped into all of these presents! G-Ma gave us a quote by Andy Rooney: “One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas day. Don't clean it up too quickly." So we spent the rest of the day playing with new toys and enjoying being together! What a fun start to our Christmas festivities!
Look at this adorable little blue-eyed nephew of mine! Precious!
Mackenzie was sooo excited about her Star Wars blanket!!!
Mack was running a fever and not feeling well on Wednesday. Poor girl! It's no sick to be fun at Christmas!
She was a trooper though, and still had a great time! I just love her personality!
G-Ma got Jonah a red helicopter, one of the things he has asked for the most this Christmas! He loves it!
Our little "saloner" got a beauty chair for her dolls!
G-Ma got Mackenzie a bag of all kinds of Star Wars things!
Madison was all about puppies this Christmas! She really wanted a "real" one, but that just wasn't going to happen...so she got several stuffed animal puppies instead!
She's been asking for a new watch for a while!
Uncle Clint & Aunt Abigail got Mackenzie a Star Wars Lego set, Madison a Princess Jasmine Lego set, and Jonah some new books!
G-Ma got the girls new "American Girl" dolls that they were wanting!
Poppa & Louise got Jonah a tool set, Mackenzie a Jeep for her dolls, and Madison a scooter for her dolls. So fun! They also got Build-a-Bear gift cards from Grandma Shaw, which they can't wait to use!
Such a sweet card from my Momma...
G-Ma's stockings are amazing! Always my favorite part!
Later that night, we watched Home Alone and then the girls had fun playing with their new toys before bed! They looked so cute in their new Christmas pj's!
Jonah really, really liked Carver's new airplane toy! We knew he would when G-Ma bought it, and she thought about getting Jonah one too, but he's just too big for it!
