Grandparent's Day at Regent

Grandparent's Day at Regent is such a wonderful event. The kids have basically been working since the beginning of the school year to memorize scripture and songs for this occasion. The Class One students sang "Crown Him with Many Crowns" and recited Philippians 2:1-11. I am amazed at how they are able to memorize all of that! It was so cute during the opening song when all of the kids were standing, Mackenzie was kind of covered up by the kids in front of her. I was able to zoom in and get some pic's and I love the way she is arching her head and making sure she can be seen! =0) I love it...she is just singing her little heart out!
We were so glad that G-Ma, Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin, and Poppa Jim & Louise could all be there for Grandparents Day! I can say with confidence that we have the best Grandparents there are! After the program, we went to Mack's classroom. She had gifts for each of us and we got to see some of her artwork. Then we went to see her semester project and have refreshments before going to McAlister's for lunch.
I was a little sad during the program, thinking about how this is probably Mackenzie's last time to participate in Grandparents day, since we are planning to homeschool next year. But, I know if that is the direction God is leading us, there will be many other special opportunities for her to participate in. We are planning for Madi to do E3 and 1st grade at Regent, just like Mack has, so there will be more Grandparent's Day's in our future with her.
I love this one!
This was during their recitation of Philippians 2.
It was fun for Mackenzie to show off her classroom and give gifts to her Grandparents.
They kinda like each other...
So thankful for Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin!
How special to have your Great-Grandpa there!
I am so thankful that God brought Louise into our lives. She is a very special lady. I miss my Grandma Jean every day, but God's ways are not always our ways.
Four Generations!

Daddy and I are so proud of our 1st grader!
Mackenzie wrote in her journal "A Grandparent Is...someone who sews pretty clothes for you." Grandma Baldwin thought that was pretty special!
Madi was needing a little attention too!

Jonah was a little terror the entire time we were in the classroom...
I just kept thinking, "Well, Disney World is going to be lots of fun with him..."
Mackenzie was showing G-Ma how to play the "Making 10 Game."
We have a little artist on our hands!
Everyone loved Mackenzie's project!
Best Bud's!
This is Mackenzie with our sweet friend, Pamela!
