Mackenzie got a new bicycle for Christmas and she's not too sure about it. She says she'll ride it when she is 5! We convinced her to try it out on New Year's Day, and it lasted all of about 3 minutes...it was VERY cold! She sure looks cute on it though. She is just a little timid about it, but she will get the hang of it soon, I am sure! Her daddy loved riding bikes growing up, so he really wants her to like it...I wasn't too into things like that when I was little, so we'll see who she takes after! (Hopefully her daddy!)
I thought about doing a "Picture a Day" blog for 2011, but then I realized that I pretty much do that on this blog anyway. I just love taking pictures of my girls!
We rang in the New Year the best way possible...a quiet evening at home, Chili's-to-go, girls in bed, watched movie, very relaxing! Earlier in the day, we attempted to see The Chronicles of Narnia at the movie theater...with both girls. I told Brian that wasn't such a good idea, but...well, we did it anyway! I ended up in the car with Madison after about 45 minutes. She just couldn't handle it. It will be a long time before we make that mistake again! We spent New Year's Day at home for the most part. Can't wait to see what all 2011 will bring!
Daddy kept saying, "It's just like the book Mackenzie, I won't let go of you!" She has a "Daddy's Little Girl" book, where the daddy teaches his little girl how to ride a bike.
Concentrating very hard!
They made it to the corner of our street, and then came back inside...tooooo cold!!!
