Madison LOVES baby dolls! She seems to play with them so much more than Mackenzie did at this age. She has two Cabbage Patch babies that she carries around constantly! And of course, now that Madison is so interested in them, Mackenzie wants to play with them too. She has her own Cabbage Patch baby doll, but she doesn't like that one...just Madison's babies. I didn't have a sister, so I am a little surprised by this whole jealousy and competition thing at such an early age. I guess I didn't expect it to be such an issue this early in life!
Madi does love her baby dolls...she takes them with us in the car, to the table, and she sleeps with them at naptime and bedtime. The sweetest thing is that she usually gives one to Mackenzie and lets her play with it. I think one reason she loves these specific baby dolls so much is because they have this little curl of hair on top of their heads, and it is perfect for playing with! She still loves hair, and I have caught her several times just twirling the baby doll's hair. So sweet! It is so amazing to me that little girls have such a mothering instinct at such a young age. God just created them to be that way!

I can't get Madison out of her bed without her babies and her blanket that G-Ma made!

Love the nostrils! Ha,ha! Madison actually looks kind of like a Cabbage Patch, with those chubby cheeks! I loved Cabbage Patch babies when I was a little girl.

I love the look Madison is giving her big sister. She adores her and thinks she is so funny!

The blonde haired baby is "Alison Emilie" and her birthday is April 5th! I have looked everywhere for the birth certificate for the brown haired baby, and I can't find it. It will turn up one of these days. My mom still has the birth certificates for my Cabbage Patch babies...it is always so exciting to see what their names are and when their birthdays are. (I know, it may be silly, but it's true!)
