We went to Newcastle on Saturday morning for the Strickland's Easter egg hunt. It was kinda crazy timing since we were leaving the next day for Disney, but this is something that we always look forward to and we didn't want to miss it. The girls were so excited about it and Jonah was much more interested in hunting for eggs this year! We spent a couple hours swinging, sliding, jumping on the trampoline, eating lunch, visiting with friends & family, hunting eggs, and enjoying the chocolate fountain, before heading back home to get packed up and ready for our trip! It was definitely a quick trip and we had a lot going on, but we were so glad we came.

All Jonah wanted to do was swing & slide, over and over!
Jonah flew down the slide and his hard head slammed right into my mouth...it hurt so bad & I instantly swelled up and got a bruise. No good!

One of the highlights of the day is always getting to pick a "prize" after hunting eggs. Madison chose this cute little blue rubber chick.
And this is a true sign of how much Mackenzie is growing up...she chose this brush and comb set!
