Caribbean Beach Resort

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort this trip, and we really enjoyed it. In the past we have stayed at Value Resorts, but we actually got a better deal at the Moderate Resort level this time. The theming wasn't as kid-friendly as the value resorts, but it was still fun. We stayed in the Jamaica village, right by the bridge going across to the pool, and it was an excellent location. There are a lot of mixed reviews about Caribbean Beach, because it is HUGE, but we really didn't have any problems. Mainly because we had our own vehicle and didn't have to rely on Disney transportation. We checked in and got into our room around 3:00 and got settled in. Then we headed to the pool for a quick swim before dinner. The pool was amazing & the biggest reason I picked this resort. We didn't make many plans for the evening, because we wanted to get to bed early so we would be ready for our early morning Magic Kingdom adventure!
This is how you do vacation!! We definitely spent more time at our resort this trip than before.
Here is the entrance to the resort.
While we checked in, they colored pictures. Even the crayon basket was shaped like Mickey!
They gave the girls princess wands and Jonah got a sword!
We had a little fun in the arcade while we were waiting for our room to be ready.
Check out this kids water area! We actually spent more time in the big pool because the kids liked the water slides over there, but I thought this pirate ship was so cool!
In true Disney fashion, we were met by Mickey Mouse towels on our bed!
Very cool room!
It had a drop down murphy bed that the girls took turns sleeping on. We spent the first two nights there with just us, and then G-Ma came and joined in on the fun!
We took the Toy Story gang along for the fun & put them in the window so we could see them when we left and came back every day! There's just no telling what they got into while we were gone!
They were lookin' good in their new swimsuits & were ready to hit the pool!
This picture makes me laugh! Jonah has this thing lately...any time his shirt is off, this is what he's doing...I'm hoping this is normal?!?!
See? Still doing it!
Love these wrinkled feet...
On our way back to the room after dinner, we found a frog. The girls had fun pretending to kiss it!
Madison shared her Mickey Mouse sticker with Pony! Madison really, really wanted Pony to come to the parks with us, but I convinced her that it would be safer & better for Pony to let her hang out in our room. I mean, it would be so bad if we somehow lost her!
Sweet, sweet Pony!
