Date Night at EPCOT

EPCOT is Brian's favorite park, so we decided it would be fun for us to spend an evening there without the kids. Being able to do this is a huge perk to having G-Ma on vacation with us! (Among MANY other things!) We went back to the resort & freshened up before heading back to EPCOT. As we were walking back into the park with no stroller, no bags, NO KIDS, we laughed at the people who were doing what we had been doing the whole time, but were able to escape doing for a few hours! What we weren't exactly counting on was the downpour of rain that came. At first I was afraid it was going to ruin our night, but it actually made it fun & a lot more memorable. We ducked into a little shop in the UK and bought an umbrella before proceeding around the world. We had this fun idea to take pictures of ourselves in every country. It seemed a bit excessive to take so many pictures of ourselves, but it was a lot of fun! We got to see the Village People perform Macho Man on our way through America & later in the evening we heard them doing the YMCA, but we were all the way in China at the time, so we didn't get to participate. We had dinner reservations at La Hacieda de San Angel in Mexico and it was so good! We had the best cheese fondue (called queso fundido) that we have ever had. I really think we could have just ordered that and gotten full. But no...we ordered a huge plate of food that was way more than we could eat. It was so nice to sit down in a fancy restaurant and just enjoy being together without kids for a while. After dinner, we made our way back around the world and watched the Illuminations fireworks show from a bridge near the America pavilion. We had such a fun time together & it was a night I know we will always remember!
(Be warned: There are a lot of pictures of us on this post that look pretty much the same!)
I posted this photo on Instagram with this caption:
"We are on te most amazing date...we've been to Canada, England, France, Japan, America, Italy, Germany, China, Norway & Mexico! We aren't pushing a stroller, dragging hot whining kids around, or rushing to get from place to place...this is better than the Amazing Race, and the best part is this guy I'm with...he's wonderful!

I thought this was so silly, but Brian made me do it!
Here we are, going around the world!
We got bored of just standing there smiling, so we decided to shake it up a bit! Ha,ha!
The Village People!
Meanwhile, back at the resort...the kids & G-Ma were having a blast!

They ordered pizza & played at the sandy beach area outside of our room.
Back to us...
Probably one of the best dates we've ever had!
