The kids opened presents from G-Ma on Monday morning, the day before Christmas Eve. As always, she spoiled them totally rotten! Jonah had a marker in each hand through most of the present opening. He wasn't completely into opening presents...he just wanted his markers! Christmas without my Dad still seems so weird...there is such a void there still. I don't think that will ever change.
Jonah's presents were wrapped in Toy Story paper, Madison's were in Strawberry Shortcake, and Mackenzie's were in Hello Kitty. They got so many fun new toys and some cute new clothes...now we just have to figure out where to put them all! After opening presents, we loaded up and headed home. G-Ma came up the next afternoon to be with us on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
Uncle Clint & Aunt Abigail got Mackenzie a bunch of books, Madison a fairy garden kit, and Jonah a little lion walker.
Is there anything more exciting to a child than the anticipation of opening Christmas presents?!
Jonah looked through his stocking with one hand, while holding onto his marker with the other!
Mackenzie got a mosaic art set and Madison got a Sofia desk easel.
The girls got new coats!
New bath towel/robes!
Nemo toys from Disney World!
Sofia the First Tea Time game!
G-Ma looked and looked and finally found a spirograph for Mackenzie!
Madi was really excited about her Flipeez hat, so that she could be like Lucy, her BFF at ELP!
How stinkin' cute are they?!
G-Ma got Jonah this cute train set!
And, last present...Mackenzie got this jewelry holder that she really wanted from Justice.
And, Madi got a Frozen toy that she was very excited about!
Big, BIG hugs for G-Ma! She's the best!!!
Jonah's face cracks me up...it's like he's looking around for someone to help him!
