Almost a year ago, Brian was asked to be part of the 2024 President's Gathering for Dare2Share as a Pillar Speaker, in the role of a multiplier. We have looked forward to this for a very long time, and he worked very hard to prepare his talk. He basically shared about how Dare2Share has impacted his life, and how he in turn is multiplying Dare2Share's ministry with youth pastors and teenagers across the state of Oklahoma. I always think Brian does great when he speaks, but he really did an amazing job communicating and accomplishing the task that they had given him! He got to talk a little bit about Jamie, our Youth Pastor, and the impact he has had on our life. This choked me up a little. God has been so faithful and good to us! Let's be real--we are nobody--and somehow we are at the Ritz Carlton in Tucson, AZ with a group of very wealthy & generous Jesus-loving people, doing ministry work alongside speakers like Tim Tebow and Jeremy Camp--is this real life?! What an amazing privilege to be given this opportunity.
Brian has loved Dare2Share for a very long time, and Greg is a great friend to him. It was fun for me to get to experience a little more of what Dare2Share is all about, and meet all of the people Brian has talked about so much. It has been a bit of a discouraging season for Brian in ministry this past year...so this came at just the right time. Here is Brian's post about the President's Gathering:
"Beyond grateful to be invited to speak during the Dare2Share President's Gathering and to bring Candace along. God blew fresh wind in our sails and we were encouraged so much! In my talk I got to highlight how Oklahoma Baptist youth leaders are advancing the Gospel and multiplying leaders across our state and beyond. Love bragging on my Oklahomies! Thankful to call Greg Stier and his amazing staff at Dare2Share my friends. Their impact in my life is monumental!
