I have SO much fun shopping for our kids for Christmas. I know I go overboard, but I just can't help it! We are honest with our kids about Santa, but we still pretend and have fun with it. As you can see by looking at the clock in the picture above, Santa visited our house at midnight. Thankfully we didn't have to be up and around too early on Christmas Day. In fact, we had to wake the girls up at 9:00 so they could open presents! We had a sweet, relaxing Christmas morning at home with our family. I'm so glad G-Ma was there with us.
This year, "Santa" brought Madison a Minnie Mouse kitchen & scooter. Santa's surprise was almost completely ruined about a month before Christmas when the doorbell rang, I opened the door with Madison by my side & there sat a Minnie Mouse kitchen in the box..."Momma, a Minnie Mouse kitchen!," she said. Thankfully I managed to convince her that it had been delivered to the wrong house and she forgot all about it....well, after she cried that it wasn't hers. =0( Bad Mommy moment!
"Santa" brought Mackenzie a Friends lego house & a Hello Kitty scooter.
Jonah got a Lion King bouncer and a little red wagon for his toys. (I'm guessing before it's all said and done, he will be taking a few rides in that thing himself! Not until he's a little older though.)

The #1 thing Madison kept saying she wanted for Christmas was "Bounce, Bounce Tigger." It was one of those things that I know she really won't play with hardly ever, but how can you not get it when that's what she says over and over that she wants! Mackenzie decided that is what she wanted to get for Madison and was so excited for her to open it! She was very into giving gifts this year, which I love.
Mackenzie got a Cinderella pony pillow pet, a headband kit, an Ariel & sisters bath set from Madison, Rapunzel dishes, a digital camera & case, a Princess cupcake game, and a Hello Kitty hat & DVD.
Madison got a Minnie Mouse pillow pet, a Castle alarm clock, a Minnie blanket & DVD, Minnie Mouse dishes, Minnie Mouse tea set, a Bouncy puppy, and Bounce Bounce Tigger from Mackenzie.
Jonah got a guitar, a driving toy, a "Roo" stuffed animal, a Disney train from the girls, some little cars, and a bath tub seat. (All he really wanted was to eat!)
This was the aftermath...just exactly what Christmas is supposed to look like!
Brian put this video on FB and said, "We got a new dog for Christmas." =0) This is the kind we like...it doesn't require any work on our end at all, except maybe replacing the batteries every few months, and you can turn it off when you don't want to listen to it anymore.
