I always love the week in between Christmas and New Year's. All of the craziness of Christmas is over and we get to relax at home and play with new toys. It is a much needed break! Brian is off that whole week, so it is a fun time to just spend time together. G-Ma spent a few days with us after Christmas before going home. She helped us take our Christmas decorations down and figure out where to put all of our new things! That even involved buying another dresser for the girls' room because we didn't have room for all of their clothes. We really need a bigger house, just sayin'!
The girls really enjoyed their new bed tent for a few nights, until they got it taken away from them. I went in to check on them about 30 minutes after putting them in bed and found them laying ON TOP of the tent. It was smashed down and almost broken. Needless to say, that was the end of the tent for a while.
If you watch this video, all you will see is a video of our entryway...but if you listen, you will hear a very sad song going on in the girls' room after they got in trouble over the tent...Mackenzie is crying, "It's all my fault" over and over. It was very sad, but too funny! She is so very over dramatic about everything.
The girls got these new sleeping masks from G-Ma. Adorable!
Maybe he'll be a Dr. one of these days!
