Madison has learned to write a word..."MOM!" She has really struggled to recognize and write her letters, but I think it is starting to click for her. I almost cried when she walked into the living room one day and said, "Look mommy, I wrote your name!" just out of the blue. She was very proud of herself, and I was amazed. I had no idea she knew how to do that! I know to most people, it is no big deal...so she wrote two letters. But to me, how unbelievably sweet that the first word she learned to write all on her own was "mom." That melts my heart! Daddy may be her best buddy, but she wrote my name first. =0)
I think this was actually the very first time she wrote it.
