Church = Priority

This is what Sunday morning looks like for me these days. I roll in to church with 3 big kids, a baby & a Bible. Last week, a friend said "You look tired!" And she was right... I. Am. So. Tired. I've been flying solo on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights for over 6 months now, while Brian has been doing an Interim position in Broken Arrow. Some mornings, especially after a long night with very little sleep, it is really tempting to just stay in bed. It's a lot of work to get myself and 4 kids out the door and to church on time. I don't always get to listen to all of the message...I am usually distracted and trying to keep the baby quiet...or I have to go feed him...and sometimes I'm so sleepy that I have to eat sour patch kids during church to stay awake...but I want my kids to see that going to church is a priority, even when it takes effort. Not to just check a box so I can feel good about myself, but because God comes first. Because in a world that is broken in so many ways, we need Jesus more than ever. And I want this sweet babe sitting at my feet, to have Jesus poured into his little mind and heart every chance I get.
