At the end of week 3, we decided to stay at camp instead of going back home for one night. There is a laundry room at camp that we have used some this summer, and that has been helpful for times like this. It's not exactly fun doing laundry at camp, but we get it done. Our friends Kayla & JP were at Lake Texoma this weekend, so when we realized we were only about an hour away from them, we drove down and spent Sunday with them. We had the best time! This was one of my very favorite days of the entire summer. It was so much fun to do something that wasn't "camp" related, for a change! JP's parents were very sweet to welcome us and let us spend the day with them. I love Kayla so much, and always enjoy any time we get to spend together. So thankful God gave us these friends! This was my first time to really ever be at Lake Texoma & I didn't realize how beautiful it is there. We spent the afternoon out on the water in their (very nice) boat & had a picnic lunch. Then that evening we had an amazing brisket dinner back at their trailer, before loading up and driving back to Falls Creek. We were tired, happy, and sunburned! I hope this is something we can do again next summer.
