Jack had his 6 month well check this afternoon, and we continue to be thankful that he is a healthy baby boy! He weighs 17 lbs 3 oz and is in the 44% for weight, and he is 26.5" long and is in the 53% for height. I asked the dr again...is this okay?? I'm used to having babies in the 90% for weight! He reassured me that Jack is at a completely normal and healthy weight. It just surprises me, because he was so much bigger at birth than our other babies, and now he is smaller than they were at this age. He is in the 71% for head circumference though, so I guess he has a big head?!
Jack loves the crinkly paper on the exam table and always starts wiggling and kicking the second I lay him up there. He got 3 shots and one oral vaccination today, which he did not appreciate at all. Because of Covid, they are still only allowing one parent to be at appointments, so I'm always on my own for these.
I mean, look at those rolls! This looks like a higher than 44% in weight baby to me! =0)))
Poor, sweet baby!! Shots are so hard.
He got My Little Pony band-aids today (not exactly like the Hulk band-aids last time!) and I couldn't wait to show Madi!
Momma made things better real quick after those shots.
