5th Grade Is Fun

Madison has really started out 5th grade well...last year she cried nearly every day the first few months of school...so far we have had no tears at all! So thankful for that! In our Parent/Teacher conference, Mrs. Talley listed her character strengths as: sweet & gentle spirit, turns in neat work, works quietly and methodically, and follows directions...those definitely all describe Madi! As well as improvements of speaking louder & having more confidence in her answers. =0) I would also have to add writing BIGGER to the list of things she could improve on...this girl writes TINY, like her daddy!! One of the bigger projects from the beginning of the school year was Madison's Million Dollar Project, where she had to detail out what she would spend a million dollars on. She would give money to the church & G-Ma's School, buy a limo & a convertible, open an animal shelter & have pet bunnies, and buy a $349 stuffed bear on Amazon, to name a few! =0)
Mrs. Talley sent this pic...they were making some kind of model...not sure what its supposed to be!
Madison is in Crosstitch Club with Mrs. Kemery this first semester and she loves it! I love that she's learning how to do this!! She is working on a flamingo.
