This quote above...yeah...so true! May is insane!
It seemed even extra crazy this year, with Mackenzie finishing 6th grade & Jonah completing Kindergarten. And of course, Madison finishing 4th grade too, but thankfully she didn't have any kind of "Graduation" or extra (sad) events to add to the mix this year! =0)
May was great, but we were all definitely ready for summer break!
Love our Connection Group!
We took Mackenzie to see End Game the day after we flew back from DC. She didn't have school on Friday, but Madison & Jonah did, so this was a good time to go. Watching Marvel movies is kind of a Daddy & Mack thing, but they let me tag along this time!
Kelly hosted a 4th Grade Moms fellowship at her house one evening & we had the best time! God has been so faithful to surround me by sweet ladies at CHA this year.
I want her sunroom...look how cute it is!
A sure sign that summer is coming...the Pecanberry Salad at McAlister's is back!! YEA!
Brian went to Peru for about a week during May, to plan a GoStudents trip. This is how we function when he's gone! #survivalmode
I was FaceTiming with him one night and he was breathing oxygen from a can...really crazy...the altitude bothered him in Peru. We were both really happy when he made it home!
Another fun night at Taziki's!
One of the best movies of all time!
I guess I was feeling nostalgic & sentimental with all of the "lasts" that we have been experiencing. The girls loved Father of the Bride, but Father of the Bride 2 was their favorite.
I found these pictures from when I left Mardel back in 2005. Seems like a lifetime ago!
Playing a little baseball in the front yard!
I was soaking up my last few days of the kids being in school, by having lunch by myself at Panera!
Tea Party time!
Why does she look so old?!
Tent city!
G-Ma took the kids to the Shaw Reunion with her. I can't remember now why I couldn't go, but something was going on and I couldn't make it.
Sweet baby Jameson!
I am so glad we have Taziki's in Edmond!
Love these toes!
All loaded up and ready for the last day of school!! I'm so glad that their Daddy gets to take them to school every morning! =0)))
Mackenzie was at a sleepover & Daddy took Madison on a movie date, so Jonah and I cuddled up on the couch and watched a movie together at home!
Mackenzie was invited to a sleepover at Mackenzie Sears' house & there was a tornado warning...it ended up blowing over, but the girls wanted to get in the storm shelter just for fun anyway! =0)
We met some friends at La Baguette for Brunch a few days after school ended.
Daelyn, Mackenzie, Grace & Miriam
G-Ma came with us too! It was a fun morning!
Invasion of the ants at our house...I really don't even know what to do about it.
Daddy & Madison's Aladdin date night!
It was stormy and raining like crazy when the movie ended, so they stayed and played arcade games for a while. Bonus!
Mackenzie went with Daddy on a little road trip to a church he was speaking at one Sunday evening. Again--why does she look so old?!
G-Ma came across this journaling book I wrote in when I was probably around Madison's age. This was hilarious to read! I always hated it when Clint snuck into my room to sleep! Haha!
