The kids had a Fine Arts Awards Assembly at school today & Madison and Jonah both received Art awards. (Mackenzie was a little sad that she didn't get one too, especially since they both did, but that's just the way things go sometimes. We reassured her that she is an amazing artist too!)
Madison's piece won 1st place for 4th grade, and Jonah's won 3rd place for Kindergarten! Brian and I may have a little healthy competition over which one of us they get their artistic talent from...either way, our High School Art teacher would be proud that we are raising 3 little artists! 
4th grade sang "At the Cross." Madison tried out for a solo, but didn't get it. That's okay...I was just so proud of her for trying!!
