About a week into school, the kids had Howdy Day. This is where they dress up in cowboy clothes and have a little program where all of the new kids get to go up onto the stage and say their name into the microphone...then everyone says back to them "Howdy, Jonah!" The girls got to do it last year, and it was Jonah's turn this year! It is a fun back to school tradition at OCS & I have to say that Jonah made a VERY cute cowboy!! He even got new boots, just for this occasion! (This was the day after his hurt foot situation, so we were all very happy that he woke up feeling better and didn't have to miss Howdy Day!) The girls were pretty little cowgirls too!
I dropped the ball and only had one cowboy hat for the girls...so Madi took one for the team and went with braids instead, even though she wasn't too happy about it.
Since all of the PreK'ers are new, they all go up onto the stage to introduce themselves!
How cute are they?!
Mrs. Gardner was so sweet to mention that she had prayed for Jonah's leg to get better and God answered her prayers! Love their smiles here!
