One evening when we were staying with the Easterwood's, we went to the Pierce's for dinner and swimming. I am so thankful for these two families and the friendships we share with them.
Madison has gotten so brave about going off the diving board, and she has even learned to "dive" off of it! Makes me laugh every time! Mackenzie got water in her ears and spent much of the evening not a very happy girl. She was starting to get a very bad ear infection, which seems to happen every summer after swim lessons. Even as hard as we try to keep her ear plugs in, she still has trouble. Jonah wasn't too sure about swimming at first, but he did go off the diving board with his Daddy for the first time ever. He came up looking kind of stunned, like "What just happened?!" The grown up men were funny to watch...they were like little kids playing in the pool together. Fun times!
Here are a bunch of video's...
This made me nervous, but it didn't seem to bother Jonah too much.
Poor Mackenzie...
"Did you see me, Mom?"
We've got to get this boy his own "boy" beach towel!
Before dinner, the girls performed the "humpty-dump" song that they learned from Falls Creek and I think Hailey Rogers taught it to them at VBS. They were kind of wild! Oh to be a kid again...
