Being a mother is all I have ever wanted to be...from the time I was a little girl, I dreamed of the day I would have babies to love and take care of! It is definitely challenging and exhausting at times (much of the time actually), but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I am SO beyond blessed to have the title "Momma" to Mackenzie, Madison and Jonah! We spent Mother's Day in Newcastle at G-Ma's house this year. Daddy woke up very early and drove back to Tulsa for early service and Sunday School, then he drove back to Newcastle to spend the rest of the day with us. The girls had given me strict instructions the night before that I had to stay in bed when I woke up the next morning. I heard them in the kitchen working and working, and finally they delivered my breakfast in bed! They made me pancakes with strawberries and yogurt smiley faces. They even brought me a little bowl of sugar for me to dip the strawberries in, and my favorite...Diet Coke! It was the sweetest thing ever and I managed to choke down a couple bites of the cold pancakes so they would know how much I appreciated their sweet gift. Then we got ready and went to church at WHBC, and then had lunch at the house with Clint & Abigail. I loved being with my family on Mother's Day! That was the best part!

The best part was that we all got to cuddle in bed together and share breakfast! I can think of no better way to wake up on Mother's Day!
We made this handprint flower pot for G-Ma the day before and also gave her a gift certificate for a pedicure. She is the best G-Ma and Mom in the whole world! We love her so much!
We enjoyed a relaxing morning around the house before getting ready for church. These pictures of the kids in the hammock are some of my new fav's! Especially the ones of their feet!

Mackenzie's words are precious..."I love you as much as you love me." I'm so glad she feels that way...I have a feeling when she's a teenager, I may need to pull this card out and show it to her at times!
After church we took some pic's on the back porch.
I love my mom so much! She has taught me how to be a mother and how to love and raise my kids.
I'm so thankful that my kids get to know their Great-Grandma Shaw! It was wonderful to spend Mother's Day with her!
Next year Aunt Abigail will have her lap full of her own baby boy! Can't wait to meet my new little nephew in September!
We tried to catch some more fish, but it was pretty windy and they weren't biting. The girls just didn't understand that at all, because that was nothing like what they had experienced a few days before.
Jonah was having a fit about something...probably because we wouldn't let him close to the water. This is what he does when he gets mad...he just lays down on the ground.
Later in the afternoon, we stopped by Bill & Ginny's house to see them and Grandma & Grandpa Baldwin before we headed back to Tulsa to get settled in at the Steen's house. I am so thankful for Grandma Baldwin. She is a wonderful Grandma, Mom and Mother-in-law and we love her very much!
