September Misc

I'm not even sure how we made it through the month of September. It's all a bit of a fog. Even looking back through these pictures as I sit here updating my blog, I remember doing these things, but barely. I was really kind of in robot mode for a while, doing what I had to do and not much else. Looking at this picture of our house above, it does bring back so many days of fear and wondering "are we going to have to move?" We really had no clue what the future looked like for us at that point. We tried to make things as normal as possible for our kids though, and not let them feel the immense anxiety and strain we were under. Here are just some random things throughout the month of September.
Oh my heart!
Oh wow! Yeah, this one got me...
Please grow, grass!
Just watching a little relaxing tv...haha!
Jack struggled with some tummy issues for several weeks. Poor buddy!
We decided to raise the stakes on our UNO game and of course Jonah won!
LOL
Mackenzie singing "Only a Holy God"
The girls had their parents showcase on Thursday night before Regionals.
Jack keeps us laughing!
Brian spoke at a pre-SYATP rally in Minco one night and I got to go with him.
Please let this be true!
We had to borrow a jacket from the lost and found one morning when it was chilly and we forgot his. It was a little big! =0)
Mackenzie and Shelby wanted to be the Wild Kratt's for Homecoming duo day. I helped Mack with these shirts real quick--not my best work, but if you don't look too close, they look great!
Homecoming candy-grams
FB memories got me with this one today! Look how tiny Jonah is!! Precious!! He has been the absolute sweetest, best big brother to Jack since the day we brought him home.
Elementary cheer clinic day!
I needed this hair appointment day...everything's going to be okay.
I did these cookies for our church's 6 year celebration. They have been so sweet and supportive of our family during this time. They paid me over twice as much as I normally charge for these, and it was yet another reminder that God is going to take care of us.
Jack has really been practicing for the Patriotic program!
Brian is booking all kinds of speaking events for the spring and summer. Thankful for that!
I have lost count of how many times I've watched the whole GG series...I definitely spend a lot of time laying in bed watching Netflix these days though...
